GSE139292: Comparison of different shear stress conditions on gene proflile modulation in HCASMC and HCAEC, in the presence or absence of BVS+Everolimus

Bulk RNA sequencing

We have analyzed the global gene expression modulation induced by mechanical stress (shear stress) on vascular wall cells, seeded in the Ibidi system, with and without BVS+Drug. By the comparison of the different flow conditions we obtained a small panel of genes, mainly involved in inflammation, angiogenesis, leukocyte migration, smooth muscle cell growth, thrombosis (BMP4, SELE, HMOX1, MEOX2, SEMA3E): all these genes will be integrated in an in-silico model for the evaluation of restenosis and thrombosis development after BVS deployment.; This project has received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 777119 SOURCE: Federico Vozzi ( - CNR
